Bonds Fine Cigar Shoppe was established in 2006. Owners Dave and Deb Bond are both retired U. S. Marines with over 20 years of service each to this great Nation. The first Bonds Fine Cigar Shoppe opened in Ocean View in March of 2006. Later that year, the second location opened at Port Warwick in Newport News. In 2008 the third location opened at HarbourView East in Suffolk. In 2011 both the Ocean View and Newport News locations closed and the Bonds focused their attention solely on the Suffolk location.
With a renewed focus and determination, the Bonds built the Suffolk location into a lasting small business. Since 2006 there have been many challenges and obstacles that they have overcome to become a successful cigar shop. Largely due to the many tax Increases and the normal manufacturer increases in price. This is one reasons every 1st and 15th of each month Bonds offers a 15% discount on your purchase. Through it all the Bonds have maintained the same pricing formula that they started with in 2006, in order to remain competitive. They have built the Suffolk location into a shop where the selection is one of the largest in Hampton Roads. The rare and hard to find cigars can be found in the humidor due the number of years in business and the reputation the Bonds have built with Manufacturer Representatives.
